Lisa S. Dierbeck is a writer who leads a double life as an arts administrator for Yaddo. When she’s not raising money for things she believes in (like art, books and the environment), she’s writing. Her work, which has been anthologized and translated into several languages, has appeared in publications ranging from The Evergreen Review and Interview toThe Boston Globe and The New York Times. She has published novels, stories and nonfiction.
Dierbeck lives in a cabin in the woods – and in a house in Astoria, Queens. She writes about the 1970s, women breaking barriers and devils, real and imaginary.
She hosts the Zoom Saloon, a virtual salon, with One Grand Books and writers like Simon Critchley, Joyce Johnson and Tom Perrotta.
